Cardiovascular Hemodynamics Price: $15.00

Cardiovascular Hemodynamics is an introduction course to basic hemodynamic monitoring.  In this course, basic parameters that are crucial in better understanding cardiac assessments on patients will be discussed.  Emphasis will also be placed on the importance of obtaining accurate hemodynamic recordings and the impact inaccurate readings can have on patient outcome.  Some topics that will be discussed include:  mechanism of obtaining a waveform, inaccurate recordings, normal cardiac chamber pressures, pullbacks, gradients and cardiac output. The course will also evaluate the atrial and ventricular waveforms, identifying its components and significance of each.

Cardiovascular Pathophysiology is a two part series that examines many of the cardiovascular disease processes that occur in our everyday practices.
