The Invasive Staff Associates at Healthworks have an average of five years of related experience in Diagnostic and/or Interventional Cardiac Catheterization procedures, with several having attained degrees at the bachelor and master's level.  They are either BLS, and/or ACLS prepared, and each team member maintains credentials applicable to their areas of expertise, such as RCIS, NASPE, RN, CCRN, RT, RDCS and RCS. 

The experience and depth of knowledge our non-invasive clinical team members has become the hallmark of the Healthworks Professionals Group.  All of our exceptional staff of highly proficient and talented Ultrasound Technologists are Registered and/or Registry-eligible and maintain certification in Cardiac, and/or Vascular, and Abdominal Ultrasound.  The core of our ultrasound staff have in excess of 15 years in their respective disciplines and many have taught and/or precepted other personnel in the field during their tenure.

Healthworks also can provide temporary and/or comprehensive staffing for your stress-testing needs as we employ skilled, certified cardiovascular technologists and nurses who have the experience and knowledge to perform all forms of non-invasive procedures.  These include, but are not limited to:

• Exercise StressTesting
• Pharmacological Stress Testing
• Thallium and/or Cardiolite Stress Testing,
• Cardiography
• Tilt Table Testing  

All of our non-invasive personnel maintain BLS, and in most instances, ACLS preparedness.

Healthworks' Electrophysiology staff associates are noted for their exceptional technical competence and can assist with a wide variety of EP procedures including:

• Recording and Data reduction of all Electrophysiology procedures to include Radio Frequency Ablation, utilizing the Pruka/Cardiolab recording system, EPT and Medtronic Atakr RF Generator.
• Clinical support in difficult to diagnose studies; programmed stimulation performance; adherence to physician protocols.
• Act as Primary surgical scrub for insertion of Pacemakers and Internal Cardiac Defibrillators and pacemaker insertion support with limited parameter testing of specific vendors.
• Support for ICD insertion, to include ICD testing at time of implant and follow-up testing at pre discharge, of specific vendors.
• Educated clinical support for Excimer Laser Lead Extraction in both the scrub and the support/equipment operation positions.
• Scrub for any emergency IABP insertion or Pericardiocentesis as required.
• Set-up and operation assistance of Biosense CARTO and Endocardial Solutions equipment.
• Scrub for all EP studies to include Radio Frequency Ablation procedures without wire insertion or manipulation.

All EP associates are ACLS prepared and Registered Nurses are available for Circulating and Conscious Sedation for all Electrophysiology procedures.

Our imaging staff members work clinically in many renowned facilities throughout the region and are available to cover all your staffing needs on a short-term, long-term, or permanent term basis.  Invasive Staff Associates at Healthworks, Inc. have an average of five years of related experience in Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiology procedures and are able to apply their special training, knowledge, and expertise at client facilities to ensure quality patient care is delivered on a consistent basis.
Our staff is comprised of Radiographers, Mammographers, CT Technologists, and Sonographers and each staff member maintains current credentials in his or her field of expertise.
